About LaseMD Ultra Skin Rejuvenation

How LaseMD Ultra works
LaseMD Ultra delivers non-ablative fractional laser energy that creates microscopic channels just beneath the skin's surface. This controlled process stimulates the body's natural healing response, supporting collagen and elastin over time.
Those same micro-channels allow targeted serums — antioxidants, peptides and growth factors — to absorb more effectively. Because LaseMD Ultra targets water in the skin rather than pigment, it carries a lower risk of unwanted pigment changes in darker skin tones than pigment-targeting light treatments such as IPL.

Is LaseMD Ultra painful?
Most clients tolerate it well. Numbing cream is typically applied first, and you may feel a mild warming sensation. Sessions take about 5 to 20 minutes depending on the area.
Is there downtime?
You may see mild redness, but you can resume regular activities right away. Full recovery typically takes five to seven days.
How many sessions will I need?
A series of three to six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart is typical. Your plan is tailored to your goals and the concerns being treated.
How long do results last?
With good skincare and sun protection, results can last from several months to over a year. Periodic touch-ups help maintain them.
Is LaseMD Ultra a better option than IPL?
For many clients — particularly those with darker skin tones — LaseMD Ultra is considered a gentler option, because it targets water in the skin rather than melanin, which lowers the risk of hyperpigmentation.
